In order to provide entire satisfaction to both property owners and tenants, ITD Travel & Tours - Villa Rental Service has developed some rules and regulations which both parties must abide to and agree each time they take our services or visit our website.

• ITD Travel & Tours Villa Rental Service - This is the trade name for our villa rental services taken from our company name International Tourism Discovery Ltd.
• Property Owner - Relates to owner of all properties advertised on our website.
• Property - Refers to all properties advertised on our website that is villas, bungalows, apartments & guest houses.
• Tenant - Refers to customers who hire our services to rent properties in Mauritius either for short term or long term.
• Agent - Refers to tour operators, travel agents and any other type of travel consultant around the world.
• Items - Refers to any information available on the website such as images, text, video or any other presentation information.

Rules & Restrictions

• The ITD Travel & Tours - Villa Rental Service's website is an exclusivity website and contains copyright data which we have created on our own or in collaboration with property owners, no one shall copy any items from our website prior to written approval from our company management team.
• Our rental system is unique and developed by our IT Department, any copy or external use of our system management script is prohibited and shall lead to legal prosecutions.

Property Owners

• All properties (villas, bungalows, apartments & guest houses) listed on our website must be legally registered with the Mauritius Tourism Authority and possess a certified license processed and approved by a legal representative of the Mauritius Tourism Authority.
• Property maintenance and maid service is the sole responsibility of the property owner but ITD Travel & Tours - Villa Rental Service will go on site regularly to inspect all properties to see if all properties are well maintained and fit our customers requirements.All properties advertised on our website are on exclusivity basis and all property owners have signed an agreement with our company, therefore, all property owners have agreed not to provide any cheaper rate than ours to any other agents.
• Property owners agree not to provide any cheaper rate to any other agents, advertise a cheaper rate on any other website, brochures, newspapers or any other advertising tool.

Tenant

• Our website offers online payment solution and immediate booking confirmation, tenants agree that when they submit a payment online, this confirm immediately their booking and shall refer to the property conditions for cancellation issue.
• All our properties are well maintained by their respective owners, tenants agree that in case there is any objects, equipments or furniture which are destroyed during their stay in the property, the tenant take the entire responsibility to recover all necessary expenses before his/her departure from the said property.Tenants agree not to use any drug substances prohibited by local laws during their stay in our proposed properties, in the case that one of our customers is found guilty in possession of any drug substances, ITD Travel & Tours - Villa Rental Service shall not get involved in such circumstances as the use of drugs is strictly prohibited by our company and any suspicious use of such items will be immediately reported to local legal authorities for immediate actions.
• Use of fire arm by civil is strictly prohibited by laws in Mauritius, tenants are hence warned that any illegal possession and use of fire arms will be punished severely by local laws.

Season Variation

Our rental rate varies depending on the season, here in Mauritius we have three main seasons which are the Normal Season, High Season and Peak Season.

Cancellation Policies

• Normal Season – 100% refund if cancellation is done at least one week prior to arrival.
• High Season – 50% refund if cancellation is done at least one week prior to arrival.
• Peak Season – 25% refund if cancellation is done at least 2 weeks prior to arrival.
